    Brand New Caterpillar 3406E LOADED Universal Stage 4 Cylinder Head. This head will work with both Acert and non-Acert engines alike! From 3406E to C15, to Acert applications you are all set! Our castings are engineered, designed, and assembled in the U.S.A. They are better than OEM quality containing 5% more nickel content in the casting material. This additional nickel content prevents the cylinder head from cracking in between the valves. Additionally, the coolant passages have been enlarged by 30%, and inner ribs have been reinforced to reduce heat stress. This cylinder head is the top-shelf item for your Caterpillar 3406E/C15 Engine. This super duty cylinder head, similar to the stage 2 and 3 heads, is loaded with exhaust AND intake upgraded inconel valves. This major performance improvement increases the capacity of the valves to endure higher temperatures as well as heightened pressure. In addition to this, the cylinder head has a stainless steel fire ring machine right into the deck of this cylinder head to avoid any chance of blowing a head gasket, which is a common failure in engines that are tuned to higher horse power. This allows you to turn up the heat and pressure with the peace of mind knowing that you have the heaviest duty head on the market under your hood.
